Happy New Year! As we reflect on 2022, we hope that you and your loved ones are happy, healthy, and—as always—taking comfort in the beauty and benefits of plants.
We’d like to extend our most sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed time, vision, philanthropic support, and expertise to advance OBP this past year. With your support and collaboration, we’ve made considerable progress on our vision of bringing a conservatory for public health to Portland.
Key Accomplishments
Co-hosted APGA bike tour event on how cultural attractions can foster public health with OMSI, Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians, Mayor-Reed, and Visitor Dialogue.
Co-hosted a sold out networking reception with Pacific Horticulture and Legacy, with more than 100 industry insiders and project supporters.
Refined and clarified our organization’s mission and focus on public health.
Secured our first major planned gift.
Explored leadership model to support the evolution of the project.
Continued conversations with Eden Project, EHDD Architecture, Legacy, and other key stakeholders and advisors.
